About Us

❀ H e l l o ❀

Welcome to our shop and passion, which I run alongside being a Sailor's wife and mum to our little girl. After university, I worked in the office world of Marketing and daydreamed of one day setting up a flower shop business.
I realised in my late 20's that I was more suited to a practical career and something that would help me to express myself and calm my anxious thoughts throughout deployments so I'm on top form to look after my daughter. Flower therapy really is a thing!
After becoming a first time mum, two house moves, a six month house renovation, going back to college to retrain as a florist and a whole lot of contemplating over a whole lot of wine, I set up My Little Posy! It provides me with a mental focus when my husband is at sea, an incentive for our daughter and I to get out and meet people in a situation where we are prone to move area, and a flexible job to allow me to give my family the time they deserve and live within the constraints of military life.
I have taken lots of influence from my love of Vintage Bohemian, Folklore, my Asian travels and my beloved Nan who had an amazing eye for interiors and florals. When she died I found a whole shed full of artwork that she hadn’t told me about so I thought to myself if you want to do something, do it now. Yolo!
Every design is top quality handcrafted and faffed about with until it looks perfect. I'll often make something then revisit it at a later date with a fresh eye to ensure perfection, quality and authenticity. Most of the designs are made to order, however I also do bespoke orders so if you have a particular style or vision, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
My husband Matt is an Aircraft Engineer in the Royal Navy and a huge perfectionist so I often get him to check each design before I send out. He also helps with the packaging and logistics for My Little Posy.
Since I started this process in 2017 and after realising when I was pregnant that I had become hugely obsessed with Pampas Grass (not sure if it was the hormones 🙈) I have been on the hunt for the perfect batch. I am lucky enough to have established a great relationship with my supplier and get my hands on the fluffiest Pampas Grass all year round.

The recycled silk is ethically sourced from deprived parts of India and I hand dye it using natural dyeing processes so you can be safe in the knowledge you are purchasing sustainably and ethically whilst contributing to the welfare of a UK military family and having some pretty for you too...🍂
The packaging used in your orders is either reused, or recyclable and hand-stamped. If you would like to add a gift tag with a message please let me know in the message section at checkout.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like something bespoke made up, I'll try my best to help create your vision or you can give me creative license to make something suitable. I always enjoy that! If you have a photo or Pinterest mood board, send it over or add me to it so I can get a feel for what you are looking for.
Please bear in mind that there may be delays once items dispatched with Royal Mail and other couriers due to the high volumes of parcels they are dealing with in the current climate.
I like to get items posted out as soon as possible with either Royal Mail, Collect Plus or DPD for larger items. The lead time for a bespoke order is up to 2 weeks but usually I can get it done before, depending on what I have on that week.
If you have any issues with your item, please get in touch so we can work out a solution.
I hope you love the designs as much as I did making them for you.
Love Charlotte 🧡
